So this is another compilation post summarizing all the things we've done but been too busy to post about. First, we had Stake Conference. I was asked to translate in the first two meetings, and KT was speaking in the second meeting so we were really invested in the thing. Therefore we just drove down to Düsseldorf and spent the night at a hotel so that we didn't have to make the 1.5 hour drive multiple times. And just to make things interesting, KT put our apartment up on airbnb and we had a family of 5 staying at our place while we were gone. We love to stress ourselves out sometimes, right? Anyway, I dropped KT off at the church while I took the boys in some nearby woods to get the wiggles out before multiple hours of church meetings. Oh yeah, I love woods. I don't know if I say it often enough for the woods to really feel appreciated and secure in our relationship, but I'd like to really put myself out there and declare it publicly. And yes, KT knows. She found out by accident, but I was really surprised by how well she took it. She was probably just putting on a brave face for the children, but I'll take it.

Last Wed. was labor day, or Tag der Arbeit. I was really surprised that Germans have labor day too. I'm sure countless others have pointed out the irony here, but I would like to dawn the cape of Captian Obvious for a moment and state how cool it is that we don't labor on labor day. Unless you go on an outing with KT. Then you labor.
Anyway, we went to a city in Belgium called Bokrijk. It's an outdoor museum, and we got the tip from KT's sis Melissa who is scoping out the local favorites in order to have an action packed trip in July. It was pretty cool. A ton of the houses had thatched roofs, and were made out of cob. Oh yes, mud and straw. It renewed my innate desire to move to the woods, make my own mud house, and sell dreamcatchers. My mom's into rock collecting these days, so I think I could work in "exotic gems" into my stand. And by the way, if you can think of anything useful that you could add to my famously imaginary (or imaginarily famous) roadside stand, just holler. My dreams are big enough for you too. Unless you are some Russian hacker trying to leave comments with links to websites with viruses. There isn't room for you.

We got to hear several Belgian people try out their English while wearing periodic costumes and cooking various items of deliciousness. At the bottom is a pic of A-man drawing in the sand, and I thought it would make an inspiring photo. Aaron's been drawing all over the place lately. The cool thing is, he's drawing little babies. His babies. Apparently he has two babies in his stomach. Ever since KT told him about hers, he suddenly has two. And they tell him to do things or not to do them. "I can't clean my hands, my babies don't want me too." I need to find out where he is getting these babies, and get a few of them myself. Dishes? Nope, sorry. My babies are tired. How cool would that be?
And if you are wondering if I just announced to the online world that we are having #3, yes I did. Sneaky, right?
More Bokrijk. Horses, Marcie, really fuzzy donkeys, and A-man climbing a large dead tree.
Finally, we had a double baptism at the church yesterday, Clara and Anna. It was really nice, and now A-man is going to baptize big T. Don't worry, they checked and A-man could possibly lift the T out of the water. They've done a "dry run" a few times since, and I think they have it all worked out.
