SPRING SPRING SPRING!!!

What we've been up to the past couple of weeks....

Waiting and waiting for it to get sunny and warmer.  And it happened!!!  We're so happy to play outside and have room to move!

So, Timmy got an eye infection last week.  We were horrified to see his eye swell up and shut closed in a matter of two hours!  It got better the next day, after getting some eye drops.  He was in good spirits, despite how bad it looked.
Here's Timmy the day after.  I thought his still swollen eye and "I'm with Handsome" shirt were pretty funny in combination. :)

Here's our handsome boy!! Here's one of the warm days, with our flowers popping up.  Yesterday (Sunday) we noticed that Timmy has two new teeth on top.  That makes four.  He's been feeling it, we think, with a grumpy attitude and some rough sleep sometimes.

Timmy's Progress

Timmy went DOWN the stairs all by himself for the first time just now!  He's been able to climb UP for months and months, but just now (very carefully) lowered himself down backwards.  He's very cautious.  A whole new world of mobility is opening up for him now! :)

He took his first two steps by himself last week when he walked to Scott.  He was so excited to have him home from work!  Although he's not fully walking yet, he's very close, and enjoys walking holding my hand longer and longer distances.

Who was that masked man?

During the character breakfast, we had an awfully friendly chipmunk at our table quite frequently.  He came right over and started dancing with my mom, hugging the adults and just spending a lot of time with us.  He started whistling church hymns like "Love at Home" and "Called to Serve," which made us realize that somehow my family knew him.  Since we grew up close to Anaheim, it's not a huge surprise that mom and dad may have known someone working at Disneyland, but who???

The Pool!  Of all the things to see and do at Disneyland, this was the one that made Timmy laugh.  We'll have to get a pool membership or something. He had a ball swimming!
