Pictures of our Home

I've wanted to post some pictures of our home for a while now.  We moved in October 2016.  We are so grateful for it and have enjoyed living here so much.  We look forward to this summer here and making memories together!  Come visit anytime!

This is the fire pit and benches that Scott made himself with the apple tree when it started blooming.

Dad and Scott put up this great triple swing on the trees out front
The deck on the house is so much fun with beautiful forest views
Here's another picture of the deck in the Fall
Our favorite part of the house is that it has 3 acres of woods behind the house included the property.  Scott and the boys have built 2 bridges and a nice trail that goes all around the property, and they want to keep building more!
The driveway is the kids favorite place to play.  They love to be out there riding around on their bikes and scooters, playing hockey, basketball, soccer and pass.
The front view of the house
Another front view of the house in the winter.  you can see the driveway goes all the way up the left side of the house to, which is great for bringing groceries into the kitchen.

The shed was really nice to have this winter for the snowblower, shovels and sleds. and the house has a generator which really gave us peace of mind when we heard of power outages in town all winter.
This is upstairs at the back of the house.  We turned this little 3 season porch into Ollie's nursery.  Right off the master bedroom, it's perfect and has great views out of the 9 windows.

  Living Room
The windows in the living room let in a lot of nice light
Stairs up to the master bedroom
Entrance from the front door, which is actually in the back of the house, AKA, laundry room.  A bit quirky, but no one comes into the house through this door typically anyway.

The basement has this storage room
We have high hopes to finish this room this year
With the poles in the middle and it being a pretty small room, it's hard to decide how to finish it.
We'd like to put a guest bedroom down here, but it's also necessary for storage, so we'll see how we end up doing it. :)
The poles, doorways at each corner (to the stairs, outside door and garage), and the appliances on both outside walls make it a little tricky to maximize the square footage.

Memorial Day Weekend

Cora got the coolest present from Mike and Baerbel.  Check out this shirt
You flip the sequins and it makes a whole new pattern!  I think it's the coolest thing
The pink heart is her favorite

Our Memorial Day weekend was a little tampered by work.  Scott had a huge proposal to get in, so I tried to free him up to work on both Saturday and Monday.  Saturday, I took the kids for the day to the See Science Center.

 Carbon Nanotube
 Pulley's
 Electricity

Cora was in love with this spinning chair.  She could have me spin her all day
 Gravity
This is a huge lego replica of the city of Manchester in the Mill Days
The Millyard Museum downstairs had some interesting artifacts from the
Mill Days of the Industrial Era
 Horse-drawn Firetruck
Monday, Scott went to work and put his nose to the grind, and we stayed home and let Aaron enjoy all his birthday presents.  He put together 2 legosets, played with nurf guns, a fidget spinner, the basketball hoop, and at the end of the day Scott took them for a short hike and we watched the first half of the Goosebumps movie.

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend!
