Temple Trip

So we were driving to the temple, and we missed the turnoff from the freeway.  We ended up seeing this:   (Münzenberg)

So we decided to go check it out since we were in no hurry.  It was a very cool little gem in a small German town.

With awesome views!

And on the way out, KT went down a road to check out this gate, and there was a guy leading a few horses around with a free horse following.  Very medieval.

Then we had a great time at the temple.  Our friends Johnson and Lola were sealed together (married) with their son.  It was a very awesome experience!

Ultrasounds

Week 11 (May 8th)

Week 11 (May 8th)

Week 21 (July 8th)

Week 21 (July 8th)

So, any guesses as to the gender?  The doctor said he could tell because the baby was peeing, because the "jet stream" made it quite clear.  We thought it was funny that he used the term "jet stream."  :)  haha

He also thought that the Ultrasound profiles were cute, because all the babies look like Linus on Snoopy. It's true, isn't it?  Cute little cartoon-ish nose and chin.

Waiting is langweilig

Aaron has learned a new phrase.  "Hard to wait."

His most common phrases are:
Mom, it's hard to wait for the baby to come!
Mom, it's hard to wait for the cousins to come!

He also learned a new German word.  Langweilig.  It means boring.  Now, everytime he has to wait for 2 minutes, it's "langweilig."

Yesterday in the car, I told him we will be arriving home in 2 Minutes, and he whined that the car ride is langweilig.

Today he said during church, "Mom, it's hard to wait for the baby to come.  Let's call the doctor and have him take the baby out!"

Porto, Portugal

It's been a cool conference other than the fact that I forgot that Portugal is in another time zone, and I showed up an hour early.  I guess better early than late.  A paper of mine has been cited in two presentations already and people presented some of my pictures, which means that me and my mom aren't the only ones that care about my research.  Thanks mom!

I'm the type of person who would probably be a bum and stay in my hotel and prepare my slides, but I know that KT would be disappointed if I don't go see a few things, so it keeps me going out:)
