I came into Oliver room last week to find dirty water dripping from the ceiling. Ahhhhh!

Our friend in a roofer and told us to get the slush off the roof and see if it continues to leak next time it rained.  Luckily, it hasn't yet, which he said might mean that the slush was just seeping through where it normally wouldn't have.  Fingers crossed!

It's nearly the end of March now and winter is almost over!
I have tried to break up the winter and enjoy the season by skiing, and I am SOOO grateful that Scott has let me take the boys almost every Saturday. 

The had the 4th and 5th grade SKI NH passports this year, which was a really rare opportunity for them to try almost EVERY ski resort in New Hampshire one time for only $30!  There are 15 resorts, and we couldn't visit them all, but we hit A LOT!

We visited McIntyre, Loon Mountain, Bretton Woods, Sunapee, Campton Mountain, Ragged Mountain, Dartmouth Skiway, Cranmore Mountain and, finally, Waterville Valley this season.

It's been great to explore the area!

Happy Birthday Oliver!

We haven't posted anything much about the last 8 weeks, so I'll catch up!

Timmy had a Winter concert at the end of January.  These are his best friends.

We had sunny days, snowy days and surprisingly many warm days this winter.  We have only had one snow day when school was closed and a few 2 hour delay mornings.  Last year, there were about 7 snow days!  It's been a fairly mild winter.

We had to update our water system filters, which was no big deal, but the water company messed up and replaced our arsenic filter with a carbon filter.  It was a bit of a mess to fix the mistake and decide on compensation for him putting in a new arsenic filter.  Then, the next day, it was dripping.  Boy oh boy!   

We sorted it all out, but then, last week (in March), I opened the closet and saw that it was all wet!  Luckily, Scot is very handy and located the drip coming from a tube in the dishwasher, which he promptly replaced the next day.

Home repairs are constant!

Another shocker this month was getting a radon tester and seeing that our numbers were 5 times the allowed amount of radon gas in the home  (20 psi, 15 psi and 8 psi).  Scott did a stellar job at insulating the house, but apparently that can make it so that radon can leak in, but not OUT so well.  We had a radon mitigation system put in the very next week.  Numbers are down to 0.3 - 0.5 in every part of the house now)

I've made a lot of effort lately to make "the fruits and vegetables should take up half your plate rule" a reality with our meals.  We try to always eat fruit or veggies before the main dish.  It's a challenge not to make it an after thought, but when we do, I feel so good.

Cora loves to collect little treasures and carry them around with her.  Lately, she likes to carry a little tote with all her treasures with her in the car, to preschool, room to room, etc.

We celebrated Mr. Ollie's second birthday by skiing, swimming, having a big birthday Cookie and opening presents.

Unfortunately, that night, he wouldn't sleep in the cabin at ALL.  We really failed to find a solution for him, and were up the whole night trying to get him to sleep.  It was torture.  VERY unusual since this kid sleeps like a champ.  It made us TERRIFIED to travel this summer where he'll need to sleep out of his room.
