This is Timmy and his preschool teacher "Miss Chris" our last day in Ann Arbor. She was so nice to come by and say goodbye.
This is our attempt to not be the worst parents in the world. Timmy has all of these little things he painted/made at school. We didn't want to throw them away, but we really needed to scale down. So, to ease our guilt, we took pictures of his stuff before trashing it. Someday, his wife will be mad that there is no tangible proof of his childhood, but at least there will be digital proof!
This was the Omaha zoo on the way over. It was a lot of fun, and the kids got pretty tuckered out. It was a pretty long car ride, and KT was sick the first half.
Christmas of course. We tried to keep the presents down to a minimum because we just gave away 90% of their toys, but they had so many cousin toys around that I don't think they noticed that they didn't get as much.
This collage has 3 random and unrelated pictures. I just stuck them together for brevity's sake. First, there were a bunch of wind turbine farms on the way home: way to go america! Second, I was recently the innkeeper in the church Christmas play, so I had a nice excuse to grow quite a burly beard for the occasion. Then, since I was so close to our move anyway, I figured that I would keep it just to get a rise from my siblings. They did not disappoint!
The third picture I just stuck in because I thought it was cute: we went out on some frozen marsh land near the great salt lake, and timmy was sportin his new hat and gloves.
