Exciting Week!

The big news this week is that the lovely Miss Allison Grace tied the knot with the handsome Mr. Sanchit Shrivastava.

Sanchit's family flew in from India and Scott flew in from New Hampshire for the ceremony.

The official celebration and ceremony will take place next August and we all look forward to flying out to celebrate with them then.

So excited for this awesome couple!
Sure love you Allie and Sanchit!

After the ceremony, the group enjoyed dinner at Log Haven in Millcreek Canyon and took some photographs.  These are two of Allie and Sanchit's good friends.

Last Saturday, back in New Hampshire, we had the great privilege of seeing our good friends, the Timmers, come in from Germany to stay with us.  We were so excited to see them!  It's been 3 years since Katie and the kids have seen them. We really enjoyed our time together showing them our home and the town where we live.  It was their very first visit to the United States ever.

We toured them around Windham on the first day, showing them town beach, the cemetery on the hill and Deer Leap.  The weather was very warm for October.

Dear Leap Trail

M & B wanted us to have something to remember them by, so they bought us some
beautiful Hostas and Hortenzias for the front yard.

They look so nice where we previously had a big empty space.

The kids were in heaven when they took them to Walmart to get them gifts as well, and they each got to choose something.

Cora was IN LOVE with this bike, because she could have Lamby ride with her.  It's her first two wheeled bike, and she is really enjoying it.

Aaron's gift was chosen weeks ago already, because Mike offered to get him a Hoverboard after he saw some kids riding them in Germany and was convinced that Aaron would love one.
He was right!  Aaron may never walk again.  He loves it and wants to ride it while outside, inside, eating, doing homework, brushing teeth, etc.

It worked great for having him shuttle dishes from the deck to the kitchen door!
 We'll be using that again!

Timmy chose to get several sets of Magic the Gathering playing cards as well as a new Pokemon Card set.  He is in heaven playing the games at school with friends at recess and at home with Aaron.  He taught Baerbel, Mike and I how to play as well.  It's very complicated for us, but he tells us which cards to play and when. :)

It was a really lovely visit, and we had such nice weather outside to enjoy hiking, gardening and sitting outside for many meals.

We hope Fall stays with us a few more weeks,
and that Mike and Baerbel and other family and friends come to visit again soon!
Much Love, KT and Scott
