We had such a great time visiting our friends and family in Utah this year. We were super spoiled with lovely accommodations and loved connecting in person with everyone, some of whom we didn't see such a long time with the pandemic concerns last year.
We started off staying at the Vocana's house, which was ended up being one of Cora's most favorite times, because she got to hang out with Jimmy. She's a little obsessed.
I need Robby to come decorate my house. So pretty!
The next day, we visited church with Mom and Dad and then headed up to "Bob's Dream,"
the cabin at Bear Lake.
We were spoiled with some amazing eats!
Judy invited us to their beach and pool which was really enjoyable and convenient.
Had a fun time chatting with and meeting them.
We visited the Bridgerland Adventure Park.
Liam and Ellie tried out the Trampolines
Cora and Ollie tried out the Teepee, the bouncy house and the tubing hill.
Timmy, Aaron, Scott, Macha and I tried 2 levels of the ropes course.
Poor Scott pulled a muscle in his side and was in a lot of pain.
He also biffed it on the mtn. bike the day before and was all torn up on hands, elbow and legs.
We're just trying to wear him out, apparently.
Timmy also tried Ax throwing, and Aaron the big huge swing.
The Ropes Course was the favorite!
The cabin has lots of fun activities. The kids enjoyed everything!
Tetherball, Corn Hole, Sequence, Movies, 4 square volleyball, the huge swings, climber, archery, swimming, jet skis.....so much fun!
We had a corn hole tournament that Robby and Kyle planned with prizes and everything!
Smores
The cousin loft
Getting fancy drinks with Aunt Robby with shark gummies!
The Corn hole tournament lasted several days
Jake the Wonderdog
He's so sweet with the kids
My boys
Papa Tim
Sanchit the Archer
Claire
She is good at corn hole! Look at her aiming!
I think it's cool that Ollie has a little spot of dark hair on his head and Seth has a little spot of light. :)
We had a nice hike one morning. It was only a mile loop, but you would have thought I was dragging my smaller kids on a 10 mile hike the way they complained. 😆
The cool fallen tree - one simply must take a traditional photo here on every hike.
Robby says she has scores of them.
We watched Cheaper by the Dozen and my favorite part was watching Cora laugh and laugh.
I didn't get any photos of our incredible beach day, but it was so much fun. We got the peninsula, which is a great spot on the water. It wasn't too windy in the afternoon, as it sometimes is at bear lake. It was just excellent weather, fun jet ski time, kayaking and paddleboarding.
A week later, we met up for Sunday dinner at Dan and Janet's for dinner, and again....forget to get some pictures, but Dan and Janet hosted a wonderful Spaghetti dinner, and we enjoyed being together.
Ollie at the cabana
We met up once more to celebrate Sophie Vocana's birthday at COWABUNGA BAY. Always wanted to try this place out. It was the perfect place for my kids' ages. They loved the lazy pool and water slides. Really fun place, and not too big that you might lose the kids. :)
We enjoyed pizza and ice cream cake and Sophie opening her gifts. 💗
(We came straight from the water park)
Wonderful to be with the Stapletons! Thanks everybody for a great time!
