We were excited to attend church today to get to know the members of the branch here. We were completely amazed with what a wonderful group there is here. Although the branch is small, they have a very large and lovely building to meet in. There are 4 families with small children, which we are excited about. The kids had a great time in Primary and nursery with the other few children there.
The high priests were having a dinner together after church. We were invited to come to the Egly home, given a ride, fed amazing food, introduced to another new couple in the ward and got to hang out and socialize with several couples. Our kids even slept great at their house, played in the amazing yard, on the trampoline and with their fun toys. (They were perfectly set up to entertain the kids, since they have grandchildren that come to their home often.)
We just had an amazing day, and are so grateful for such great people and a warm welcome!

I just checked your blog and it looks like I've missed a lot! I can't believe you all made it out there! I know it must not have been easy, but what a special experience you and the family get to have. We'll be sad without you in AA, but can't wait to follow the trip here on the blog. Have fun!
