Beaver Ponds

I was travelling this week, so on Thursday I worked from home and we all went hiking around the beaver ponds behind the house.  It was chilly, but we were able to hike along the stream, which is a viewpoint we don't normally get.

No one fell through the ice (though we weren't sure at times) so it was a successful outing.  We ended the evening snuggling up on the couch watching Star Wars The Force Awakens.  Awesome day!

And on another note: The Baby (at least until she will be fired and replaced by a newer, younger model) fully-decked out as a fairy.

Then on Saturday we went to the Home Depot kids workshop thing.  It was a zoo, and we had to wait in line but in the end the kids loved it.  Though 30 kids all pounding a hammer at the same time is not really my idea of a relaxing Saturday environment.  HD must make a killing on this though.
