Melissa and Michelle arrived!
We got ready for skiing in the morning, made our lunches and breakfast to take for the road and
went to Concord, MA and Boston to explore.

Orchard House
I've done the Orchard House tour before, but this time they included a video with the director who dresses up and plays the part of Louisa May Alcott. She gives a tour of the home in the video and then you actually tour the home. It was nice to give you things to look for and hear essentially the tour twice. I had a live tour once of her before when she dressed up for our group of women. Such a talented woman!
We took a quick walk around downtown Concord and Sleepy Hollow before buzzing over to Boston.
Unfortunately, our tea room we hoped to visit was closed, but we were lucky enough to get into the State House and Giacomo's Restaurant, which I have always wanted to try.
We toured the state house, walked a bit of the freedom trail, and ate dinner at the North End.
Giacomos is a tiny restaurant with usually a HUGE line. They only have 7 tables. We caught dinner early enough to walk right in with no wait. It was a dream come true for me to try it. They had the most delicious garlic broccoli!
We walked along the Kennedy Greenway on the way back to the car...through gorgeous scenery.....and only one sketchy place we shouldn't have been. Haha
We saw some very pretty harbor views and greenway parks
We spent the next 3 days skiing in Maine with a group of 14 women.
So amazing!

After our ski trip, we visited the Methuen Ward for church, and I was happy Melissa and Michelle got to hear our choir sing "Go Ye Now in Peace" and meet Kirsti Call, our second cousin, who led the choir. It was beautifully performed for our closing song in sacrament meeting.
We also connected with Wendy that we were both friends with Joe Perotti! Wendy sent him this little picture to show him that she hung out with the Parker girls. :) Such a small world!
After church, we headed to Wingaersheek Beech for a winter walk
It was remarkably warm for February and very comfortable to walk the beach in our warm clothes.
Michelle was kind enough to suggest we take a family photo together. Thanks Michelle!
