This little Robin hatched and is growing quick!
The nest is up in our kiwi plant on the trellis. Sadly I had to have a talk with the kids about one of the other baby birds dying. I think an animal got it because it was dead on the deck and half the nest was fallen through. It was so sad.
Cora said many times "It's OK. He's with Heavenly Father." "It's OK - Jesus will feel him better and he'll be alive again!" She insisted on accompanying me to take his little body away. I was afraid it would make her sad, but she wasn't, just interested. I was sad. :(
