Juliet finished her summer job at Camp Green Eyrie and came to hang with us for about 10 days.

I am most saddened by the man who was pressed to death. He would not confess nor speak at all, because that way if they killed him without going to trial, his property would be passed down to his children. If he were to go to trial and found guilty, his property would have been taken from the family.
His wife was pregnant when he was killed and also accused of being witch herself and imprisoned.

His mother had an affair and his father was so angry when he found out, and suspecting that the children were not his own, he sent the children away to America.
The other children died, but Richard More lived to be 84 years.

This place was breathtakingly beautiful and had a sad story.
A family used to live here, and one day an avalanche hit the area and killed the whole family.
The irony is that they left their house to get to safety, but their home was untouched, and everything around it was destroyed. Had they stayed home, they would have survived.

Juliet wanted to check out the mall, so we had an afternoon at the Rockingham Mall
They have a really cool Disney room! I Never knew!
We had to check Maine off Juliet's list, so we went to YORK
to my favorite little harbor beach and cliff walk.
On the way home we saw this FORT and decided to check it out
History preserved by caring people, and it makes for a really interesting recreation area.
That night we mustered energy to attend the temple with the YSA group.
I was so glad we went! The temple was beautiful! It had been nearly 2 years since I was able to be in the Boston Temple and it felt great to be there.

The kids were happily entertaining themselves, so Juliet and I took off to BOSTON!
We had been before right after she got off the plane in June, but this time, we wanted to really see more.
We started with a short tutorial on how to drive a STICK, and Juliet rocked it by driving from our house to the school district ....woot woot!
Juliet had a tip from friends at camp that we needed to shop on the street just south of the Public Park, so we headed that way and shopped the fancy stores (Hermes, Tiffany, etc.) down to the "normal" shops....where we actually spent our money.
Many of the fancy stores were amazing beautiful. This was a furniture store that used to be the natural history museum building.
I got to live my dream of scootering around Boston and through the public park on my e-scooter.
Juliet and I also did the swan boats. No line...$4? Sure! It was a fun ride and we saw bride after bride posing with her wedding party on the banks of the pond.

The Aquarium was one thing that Juliet REALLY wanted to do in Boston before she left. We made it there just 30 minutes before closing, and were horrified that the ticket office was closed.
By a TOTAL MIRACLE, they let us come in for that last half hour!
Last stop! A freezing ride on the last DUCK Tour of the evening with Boba Smoothies! I should have made that hot chocolate and warm sweaters......brrrrrr!

We really DID Boston! It was great to sightsee with another adult and not have the kids with us.
Wonderful treat! Thank you to Scott for taking the kids solo so we could enjoy ourselves!
Sunday we had church (Sunday School class was me teaching our small group how to lead music).
We spent the rest of the day chillin, dressing up in dinosaur costumes and watching homemade movies!
Ben Parkers debut at age 19 in a space sci-fi was most entertaining!
Monday morning we kayaked at Lake Canobie
Monday night we had FHE with the Little family and a "funeral" for their pet Rooster "Banana"
The next morning we bid a fond farewell to Juliet!
We sure loved having you, Juliet! Please come again!
