CHRISTMAS EVE
Bethlehem Dinner
Scott's done a great job shopping for, setting up and preparing this meal each year for the last 4 years.
CHRISTMAS MORNING
With freezing rain on Christmas Morning, there was ice coating everything! The trees, the roads the walkways. It was beautiful, but treacherous. Many families postponed their Christmas gatherings to the next day.
Our traditional Egg Casserole
Opening Gifts
Second Breakfast was baked French Toast
Cora enjoyed taking many photos with her new Instax (Poloroid)
Instant printing camera.
Sunday after the Christmas program
Monday - Visiting Jordan's Christmas village.
Ollie and Tim
Cora and Aaron
We played Racing Reindeer.
We passed on the 3D movies (crazy lines) and the fake ice skating and sledding.
They looked pretty bad.
After, we went to IKEA for dinner, which TOOK forever!
Good food though!
Then.......the sickness began.
Luckly, negative tests for COVID, but there were some runny noses, sinus pressure, chills and coughs. Everyone is well now, baring a slight nightly cough.
However, it meant that we did essentially only "at home play" for all of the Christmas Break.
