Karate and "The bed"

 

These cuties tried out a few karate classes.  They had much enthusiasm for their first 2 classes, but then were less excited to go back. 😄

We had a neighbor offer up a beautiful bed.  I was lucky enough to get it, but it was quite the feat to get it home. 

It involved Scott and I making three trips to our neighbors house and hoisting the bed on our van, which has no rails. We had to be quite creative.  Even still, the staircase could not be lifted.

We enlisted Paul's help, who has superhuman strength and a truck!

It was a fantastic birthday surprise for Cora!  Not to mention that it came just in time for all our guests to arrive for Cora's baptism.  We just had to buy a twin mattress and it helped us sleep more guests for sure.  Ollie and Cora were super excited.  They have been asking for a bunkbed for nearly 2 years. 

It was also time for Oliver to get a bigger bed.  The toddler bed was certainly getting to be too small.
